Vacation Mode: On

days off - this is honestly the phrase that constantly runs through my mind every morning when I wake up. Although it is tempting to close my laptop to visit Downtown Disney (which is literally a 60 second walk from my hotel), I made it a personal choice to not neglect my blog or my audience. As a passionate blogger, I find that the best way to really enjoy your vacation is to find a balance. There needs to be a fine line between finding or making some downtime to work, but to also remember to live in the moment. A huge mistake that a lot of bloggers make is that they document their travels so often through Instagram and/or Snapchat. Like the commonly spoken phrase "you do you", I'm honestly okay with whatever people choose to do on vacation, but I do have to say that being on your phone constantly does take away from your entire vacation experience. For me, I tend to film a quick Snapchat or take a quick Instagram photo, but immediately put my phone in my purse to enjoy every other second.

Monthly Roadtrips

If you haven't already heard from one of my previous Instagram posts, I have recently shared with you all that a couple of my friends and I created a fun little tradition that we've been doing for the last two months called "monthly roadtrips". In other words, we all mutually agree on one city to visit and simply set a date and time for this to happen. Honestly, it's not very hard to organize if you just reserve one weekend off per month in advance. All you need is a working car and good company and you're set!

Missmisschelle's 24th Birthday Party

After celebrating my 24th birthday with different friends throughout the week and relaxing with family (and Hulu, heh) during the July 4th weekend, I finally found the time to catch up and edit all of the photos from my birthday bash! I've always imagined throwing the birthday party of my dreams one year and I'm safe to say that this dream of mine came true on June 25th, 2016 at 3:00PM at Ketsourine Macarons. Thanks to Ketsourine Macarons located in Daly City, I was able to reserve their shop for a good three hours to host my private birthday event. From start to finish, I had such a great time setting up pastel-themed party decorations, goodie bags, and party food while reuniting old friends that I haven't seen in months or years. Be sure to search the Instagram hashtag #missmisschellexKM to look through a gallery of pictures from all of the guests at my birthday party!

It's been a little over a month since my Yelp Spring Break San Diego vacation with my fellow Yelp Elites and I already miss exploring new San Diego grounds with them. I actually uploaded these two vlogs on Youtube a couple weeks back, but unfortunately, I was experiencing technical difficulties posting them on the blog - sorry for the huge delay guys! But finally, they have been successfully uploaded on to the blog and I hope that you guys enjoy watching the footage that I filmed during my trip! Also, please be sure to give a big thumbs up and subscribe to my Youtube channel (missmisschelle) if you liked watching my vlogs and want to see future ones! :)

My Thoughts On Love

Reflecting upon the past couple of years, I've learned so much about relationships, love, and dating just through personal experiences. If I look back on what I was looking for back then compared to what I'm looking for now, the lists are completely different. After finding my serious relationships rather short-lived, I've now taken a step back from dating to see the bigger picture and have compiled a list of what steps I should take towards dating and steps I should avoid.

My Everyday Skincare Routine

Do you find yourself in a constant battle with fighting away the dryness, oiliness, or acne scars that reside on your face? Don't worry girl, you aren't fighting this battle alone. For years now, I have been trying to eliminate the cystic acne that's been on my chin with no victory in sight. Eventually, my mom decided it was time for me to visit a cosmetologist and it was definitely well-worth the consultation. If you don't know what skin type you have (dry, oily, or combination) or cannot find any effective products to combat your acne, I highly suggest that making an appointment with your cosmetologist will serve as a beneficial first step towards healthier looking skin.
