Sweet Tooth Cravings at Ice Monster

Weight going up....on a Tuesday! Last Tuesday, three friends and I decided to drop by Ice Monster in Walnut Creek to satisfy our sweet tooth cravings. While I prefer to savor my sweets after dinner time, I have a friend who literally eats sweets at every meal. As unbelievable as that previous statement sounds, it's true - which explains why we went here during lunch time, haha! Just warning you ahead of time, you best avoid reading this blog post if you're hungry or you may regret it! 2 Reasons To Love Maxi Dresses

Along with being an avid dress and romper collector, I have also developed a slight attraction for maxi dresses as well these days. Typically, I either go for a solid colored maxi dress with subtle lace details or a loud, bohemian patterned piece. Leaning towards fun patterns this time around, I loved wearing this navy bohemian patterned maxi dress by AMI Clubwear for a casual everyday look. To Healthy Friendships

Since the beginning of 2016, I've reflected a lot on myself as an individual - from the goals I've accomplished in 2015 to what steps I could take to become a better version of myself this year. I couldn't be more grateful for all of the amazing friends I've met so far and all of the support I've received from loved ones. Yep, it's just another one of those days where I feel like "I Can't Adult Today". Don't we all miss the carefree days of watching TV marathons, playing video games, or running around the playground with friends? I know I do. As much as I miss the luxury of free time and not having to juggle multiple responsibilities, I am also happy to be living the adult life, choosing my own career path and making my own life decisions. As a lifestyle blogger, I tend to take care of most of my work at a nearby coffee shop or from the comfort of my own home. Today, I will be sharing with all of you caffeine lovers where my top five coffee shops are located in the Bay Area (in no particular numerical order of preference).

Umami Burger Tasting

It's always a fun and invigorating experience to explore an unfamiliar city all the while hitting up four restaurants back-to-back with a good friend who shares the same passion and love for food as you do. Throwing it back to one of the most memorable days I've had in a while - exploring Oakland with Bay Area food photographer and friend Jeremy Chung. Thanks to Jeremy, I had the honor of experiencing my first food tasting at Umami Burger in Oakland.
