Whenever I plan a trip to visit Southern California, I ALWAYS get myself excited about the amazing food that I'm about to chow down on! In fact, Yelp's bookmark feature is one useful method that I use to save the restaurants and cafes that I potentially want to visit in the near future. I highly suggest using this feature if you ever plan a getaway to a new city because it really helps you narrow down what places you can visit based on your current location! Chantal Guillon's Macaron Decorating Workshop

When I was invited to Chantal Guillon's Macaron Decorating Workshop, I was trying to imagine the behind-the-scenes of how macarons were made from start to finish. Honestly, I don't know the first thing about baking macarons, but I have definitely heard that they are one of the hardest desserts to make from scratch because you have to get the size and texture of the macaron shells just right. But once perfected, you are left with one of the most beautifully decorated and fluffiest tasting desserts that everybody is raving about these days.

Passion Over Everything

Because of Instagram, I am truly thankful for the opportunity to befriend such passionate, ambitious, and hard-working individuals who share the same interests as I do. One of these individuals include the kind-hearted and bubbly Eva, otherwise known as @simplyevahxo on Instagram.
