Top Amazon Bathroom Essentials
When I finally started to settle into my humble 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom abode, I didn’t realize just HOW many things I needed to buy to spruce up the place! Of course, it all lies in the eye of the beholder - some like their spaces minimal, and some like their places to capture a certain theme or vibe. For all three of my bathrooms, I wanted each bathroom to have its own color theme. The first floor bathroom is mainly for guests and this one is a fun and inviting teal-themed space. Meanwhile, the second floor bathroom has a grey theme to match the dark grey headboard of my guest bed (which I actually sleep on once in a while since it’s comfy AF, LOL). Lastly, the third floor bathroom is the master bathroom, which has more of a classic neutral and cream touch to balance out the neutral and earthy tones of my adjacent master bedroom.
It took a while for me to determine a color theme for each bathroom, but I finally did what made the most sense and matched the bathrooms to colors that were incorporated in nearby rooms. After determining the color scheme of each bathroom, I went ahead and did some fun Amazon Prime browsing for any bathroom essentials that caught my eye! 1. Acrylic Q-Tip Holder (Marble)
If y’all know me, you’ll know that I’m a huge sucker for marble ANYTHING. This was one of the cutest essentials I had to splurge on for my master bedroom! To fill up this holder, you just have to open the lid and pour all of your Q-tips in! This Q-tip holder is so compact, aesthetic, and truly belongs on every bathroom counter! Comes in more colors if you’re not a huge fan of marble!
This was probably my proudest purchase ever, LOL. As soon as I discovered that over 20 types of scented reed diffusers were on Amazon, I KNEW I had to get at least two! And splurge I did. Also, these are not your ordinary scented reed diffusers. In fact, these are the BOUGIEST scented reed diffusers that I’ve ever owned. When you browse through all the different types that Amazon carries, I love how they have some that incorporate different ribbons, colored glass bottles, colored reeds, and flowers. These are a MUST-HAVE for every homeowner, and they serve as the ideal housewarming present as well!
3. FITINDEX Bluetooth Body Fat Scale (Clear)
Can I say that this body fat scale has been my best friend since April 2020? Totally joking (sort of), but will you believe me if I told you I hopped on this scale every single morning and tracked my weight, body fat %, BMI, water intake, muscle mass, and more? Because girl, I DID! For anybody who wants to keep their health in check, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend buying this body fat scale. It connects via bluetooth so whenever you hop on this scale, your phone syncs with it automatically and it records your body stats for the day. Plus, it just looks classy AF in its beautiful glass casing as it sits on your bathroom floor. Lastly, I think it’s pretty cool how you can add different “profiles” on it so your family members or friends can hop on this same scale and it will save their info as well!
4. Storage Countertop Organizer (Clear)
Did I have any regrets with this purchase? No. Did I fall in love with this organizer at first sight? Yes. I am EXTREMELY picky when shopping for organizers - it has to be cute, functional, and convenient for my everyday lifestyle. I especially love this organizer in particular because not only does it look chic on my bathroom countertop, but I love how it displays all three of my cotton-based essentials (Q-tips, round cotton pads, square cotton pads) in an organized and stylish fashion! No complaints whatsoever.
Honestly, am I the only one who struggles to shave her legs in a cramped shower stall?! Yes, I’ve danced hiphop for many years and developed keen hand-eye coordination, but I also still manage to lose my balance while perfecting the art of shaving my leg while standing on one foot, LOL. This spa shower seat makes life a whole lot easier while shaving and it is also super comfortable to sit on as well! When it’s not in use, I like to use it as a “tabletop” to hold my beauty products or bath towels.
6. Spa Headband Hair Wrap (Pack of 6)
Where has this hair wrap been all my life?! I’ve always struggled to find the ideal hair wrap or headband to pull my hair back while washing my makeup off or doing my skincare routine, and nothing comes close to perfection unless it is this pack of six hair wraps. I love how they attach by velcro so it’s comfortable and easy to wear. In fact, it comes as a pack of six so it makes washing up and evening skincare routines much more enjoyable and mess-free! I would definitely recommend these hair wraps over any “cute” Asian bow headband.
7. Liquid Soap & Luxury Hand Cream
I actually received this as a birthday gift earlier this year and I have to say I really love the scent and feel of the liquid soap. I’m pretty picky with my soaps, but this one is a classic to have in your bathroom! Plus, the black font makes this soap level up by 100 bougie points. Would definitely buy this for myself again in the near future!
If I’m going to have to buy a plunger, it better match the other aesthetic things in my bathroom! In all honesty, I never had to use this plunger quite yet (thank the lord), but it never hurts to keep it in case of emergencies.
9. Moist Towel Warmer & Steamer
Did you ever want to bring Burke Williams or Glen Ivy to your humble abode? Oh no, just me? LOL. I bought this moist towel warmer & steamer on a whim because there’s nothing I love more than treating myself to a long, in-depth skincare routine. With this towel warmer, you can heat up your towels in a jiffy, press them into your face, and allows your pores to open up. Not only does this help for me to do extractions, but opening up your pores with this heat also allows your skincare products to absorb into your skin much more effectively. Additionally, another great perk about having a warm, damp towel is that marvelous feeling of wiping off your makeup remover or cleanser with a towel and not having to dip your face into the sink bowl and splash water messily all over your kitchen countertop. The moist towel warmer and steamer keeps things classy ;)
10. Shiseido Square Cotton Pads (80 pieces)
Okay, I solemnly swear that I am picky AF when it comes to buying specific types of products - square cotton pads included. Ever since I’ve used Innisfree’s Square Cotton Pads, my face has been spoiled beyond belief by the SOFTNESS of these pads. Since I wasn’t able to buy these same square pads by Innisfree on Amazon, I found a similar quality one by Shiseido and I LOVE them! I use approximately 5 squares every time I remove my makeup, and I love just how soft and cushy they feel while I’m cleansing my skin.
11. Clearbear Hand/Face Towel Set
Yes, I took a chance and bought these without knowing the quality or feel of these towels. With towels, usually it’s a hit or miss - they’re either perfect, or they’re either cheaply made, pill, and fade after just a few washes (like my Target bathtowels…sigh). However, I’m happy to report that these towels are amazing! I bought this set specifically for the “blue” and “grey” colors to put on my bathroom countertops to match my respective bathrooms’ color themes. However, it doesn’t hurt to use the other towels for drying dishes, cleaning, and more.
12. Relax, Soak, Unwind, Breathe Wall Art
One of the most stressful yet enjoyable experiences of moving into a new home is the decorating process. There’s just so many damn things to choose from! However, I randomly bumped into this set of four frames that include the words relax, soak, unwind, and breathe. Honestly, I had the perfect space to put these up right across from my bathtub. Even though they are not hung up yet, I just know that these will look perfect and add a tranquil vibe to my bath times as soon as they are installed.
13. Equate Jumbo Cotton Balls (100 Count)
To be honest, I’m unsure why small cotton balls even exist. I feel that they barely hold any product or barely have enough surface area to really clean your makeup off! If you know me, you know I like to go big or go home ;) In other words, jumbo cotton balls are a match made in heaven for me! These are very soft, hold my makeup remover solution well, and I use approximately three of them to get all of my eye makeup off :)
14. Organyc 100% Organic Cotton Rounds (70 count)
Similarly to what I said about the Shiseido Square Cotton Rounds in Product #10, I have no complaints about these whatsoever. Whenever I buy products, I always try to go the organic route as well! As long as a cotton round, pad, or square is soft to the touch, I’m a happy camper.
We all know why this was invented ;) This product is pretty much self-explanatory, but it’s nice to keep one in each bathroom for guests! There’s nothing worse than a guest feeling embarrassed after they use your bathroom without having anything to help cover up their tracks, ya know what I’m saying? So be a good hostess and buy these ;)
