Top Bath Essentials For All Self-Care Enthusiasts
Never have I felt so strongly about the installation of blinds in my home until the year 2020 hit. I had just moved not too long ago and I had no blinds covering my windows on all three stories except for one little corner of my living room. In the remaining areas of my 3-story home, you can pretty much see everything I was eating, watching, Instastorying, and more. In other words, I was pretty much living in a fish tank where every neighbor or pedestrian can see my every move, LOL. Thus, you cannot imagine just how ECSTATIC I was the very day my blinds were installed. This was the moment in time that I realized that I was finally able to shower in privacy (I had to strip in the shower stall at a particular angle or else I would risk exposing my entire naked body to the world) and take my soothing bubble baths.
As a celebration for this new milestone in life, I wanted to share my FOUR top bath essentials with y’all because using the RIGHT products will only make your bath time experiences more therapeutic for your mind and more beneficial for your overall hygiene.

Curel Skincare Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer
You can think of this as the pre-moisturizer before your actual moisturizer - similarly like using a pre-cleanse before you use your actual cleanser in a skincare routine. Anyways, I cannot emphasize how much I LOVE this specific product. In fact, I was mindblown that this is the very FIRST ”moisturizer “you can apply to WET skin. That’s right - you can apply this moisturizer after your are done with your bath and/or shower before toweling off to dry! This moisturizer is activated by moisture itself, so its ingredients uses the water from your body to help penetrate your skin barrier more effectively. Every time that I use this product, I can truly feel that my skin is becoming smoother with every use. However, I would highly recommend using this moisturizer as a BONUS or ADDED STEP to your normal moisturizer and not as your MAIN moisturizer!

Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt Antioxidant Rich Matcha Green Tea Foaming Bath
If you want to up your self-care bath game, you NEED to get this foaming bath product! I poured just a little bit of this product into the tub and the bath water started foaming up almost instantly. Also, if it helps give you a better idea of how much quality the bubbles or foam holds, the bubbles stayed in my bath for over 30 minutes! Plus, you can always add more product if you feel that the bubbles are slowly melting away. All in all, I would definitely stock up on this product, as I do plan to have more bubble baths in the near future! Might I add that this product smells absolutely amazing as well? ;) If you ask me what it smells like, I would say that it smells like tranquility (LOL).
Disclaimer: Just a heads-up that if you OVERUSE this product (or any bath bomb and/or bath products for the matter), there is a small chance that it can cause a urinary infection. To decrease the chances of getting a urinary infection, you can switch off between bubble baths and other types of baths :) In other words, try taking a bubble bath one day, a plain warm water bath another day, and an epsom salt bath the very next day - keep switching it up!

Dr. Teal’s Restore & Replenish Pink Himalayan Mineral Soak
Whenever I just want to soak into a nice warm salt bath, I love using anything by the trustwrothy brand otherwise known as Dr. Teal’s. Although I switch off between different types of epsom salts, you cannot go wrong with this an epsom salt bath at the end of the day.

By working out the knots and kinks in my body on a monthly basis, she knows JUST how sore and stiff my body is from constant exercise and muscle fatigue!

Maude Hydrating Coconut Milk Bath
Now, I received this as a gift from the brand, but who’s to say a girl can’t try new things outside of products that she already loves?! I had this Hydrating Coconut Milk Bath product lying around in my piles and piles of PR products, and I was like, “Let’s try this baby out today!”
Honestly, I did not expect to have BABY BUTT soft skin after scooping a generous spoonful into my bath. Hell, I didn’t even know what coconut milk did to the body. All I know is that I was EXTREMELY happy with how smooth my legs felt after bath time was over.
If you are a beauty enthusiast or have a friend who loves all things beauty, I would highly recommend buying this product as a gift! And if you do decide to buy this for a friend, you might as well buy one of yourself while you’re at it, right? ;)

Parachute Home & Charisma White Bath Towels
I told myself that the day I moved out into my own place, I NEED to splurge on bougie bath towels! Simply, this was a non-negotiable for me. I know what it’s like to dry your body against a very course, cheap AF towel and girl, it ain’t fun stuff.
Two towel brands that I genuinely LOVE include Parachute Home and Charisma. We all know that I love Parachute Home for its high quality materials. In fact, I own linen pillowcases, linen duvet covers, and towels. from Parachute Home and have been a loyal customer of this brand for two years and counting. Plus, I even bought Parachute Home Founder’s book called How To Make A House A Home by Ariel Kaye, which one of my followers bought as well after I recommended it on Instastories- yay!. Now THIS is how much I love Parachute Home. In fact, I always feel like a bougie boss babe whenever I use one of their face, hand, or bath towels when freshening up in the bathroom.
Another towel brand that I am obsessed with is from Charisma, which you can find at Amazon or Costco as well. Charisma honestly makes the SOFTEST towels and it makes my body feel like it’s on a tropical vacation at a five-star hotel. My best friend’s boyfriend even told my best friend, “Omg, I need to get these bath towels” after he stayed at my place, LOL.
While I’m here, I also wanted to mention the sad truth that you should NOT get your bath towels from Target. This was the very first store I picked up teal bath towels at, and to be honest, these teal towels were stained with yellow after a few washes. Also, they feel so course and drying against my skin to the point where I did NOT enjoy toweling off after a shower. Please take my advice and shop from the two towel brands I’ve listed above!
