My cure to anxiety.

My getaway from stress.

My introduction to knowledge.

My source of inspiration.

These are just a few of the many ways that podcasts add to my life. In all honesty, podcasts have transformed my quality of life for the better. Not only do I find myself making better life choices, but their advice always keep me level-headed, humble, and focused.

Before podcasts, I would often spend my free time scrolling endlessly on social media or binge-watching the next “it” show on Netflix. Not that there’s anything wrong with this, but I could tell that these routines didn’t exactly fulfill me, add to my life, or make me happy. Thus, I made it a personal choice to minimize the amount of time that I watch Netflix and restrict the amount of time I am on my phone if I have no purpose to be on it.

Ever since I started listening to podcasts, I felt myself becoming more open-minded, accepting, understanding, and grateful. Although there are so many different podcast genres you can listen to, I often gravitate towards the ones that focus on entrepreneurism, health, fitness, productivity, and just about anything that levels up your life.

Now if you’re here, I’m sure you wanted to know what my favorite podcasts are so I’ve shared them down below in case you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to!

Decluttering

ClutterBug Podcast

I am absolutely beyond OBSESSED with this podcast. Not only have I purchased TWO of Cassandra Aarsen’s books, but I literally went on a decluttering spree as soon as I listened to the first episode. More often than not, I even turned on the Clutterbug podcast AS I was cleaning to keep myself TWICE as motivated! Cassandra absolutely funny, down-to-earth, relatable and has the best decluttering tips ever! Lastly, I’ve listed the two books I bought from Cassandra down below - if you need a quick burst of motivation to clean your home, you’ll love reading these!

The Clutter Connection: How Your Personality Type Determines Why You Organize The Way You Do by Cassandra Aarsen

A to B Podcast

This podcasts features two brilliant and hilarious women who bring positive vibes to the room all the while addressing all things decluttering, cleaning, and home organizing. I breezed through their podcast in a week because it was that enjoyable to listen to! Highly recommend.

Clean. Simple. Free

Not gonna lie, Ashley Alexia Foxx has ONE helluva soothing voice. I can listen to her podcast all day! She provides straightforward, helpful advice on how to clean one’s home and I definitely recommend giving her podcast a listen. P.S. She’s super nice and welcoming on Instagram as well - we’re Instagram friendsies : ‘ )

Fitness

The Royal Health Show

Roy Yamada is one of my friends that surprisingly enough…I met on TIKTOK!!! Haha, I never actually thought I’d meet anyone through TikTok, but trust me when I say that a LOT of creators have met because of this viral app. Anyways, I wanted to give Roy a shoutout on his latest podcast, The Royal Health Show, because he provides solid advice on addressing various topics about fitness, weight loss, calorie counting, and more. I’ve listened to all of his podcasts so far and I can’t wait to listen to more! Please give his podcast a listen and tell him that I sent you there ;)

Life Lessons

OLD Podcast

I was randomly browsing for a new podcast to listen to one day, much like how we scroll through Instagram without not really knowing what we’re actually searching for. Lo and behold, I ended up on OLD Podcast. Unlike your typical podcast, OLD Podcast divides itself into a multitude of podcasts that address relationships, finances, health, start-ups, and more.

OLD Podcast has to be ONE of my favorite podcast channels of all-time because of their straight-to-the-point advice and words of wisdom. Not to mention, they actually have professional voice actors reading from blogs (with the blogger’s permission, of course) so you already know your ears and mind are in for a treat.

The two things I always look for in a podcast are high quality audio and, for lack of better words, a non-monotonous voice. I can guarantee you that OLD Podcast definitely keeps me hooked with every word, and I’m sure they’ll this same magic effect will work on you as well.

Wild 'Til 9

Oof, now this podcast is just…LOL. It’s literally the wildest (hence the podcast name) podcast I’ve ever listened to and I am HERE FOR IT! I absolutely love Lauren’s vibrant and energetic personality from her YouTube channel, LaurDIY, and boyfriend Jeremy (they literally refer to him as boyfriend Jeremy throughout the podcast) is absolutely hilarious with his “hot seat” stories. Pretty much, you have to listen to this podcast to catch all of my Wild Til 9 references. This is literally the only unfiltered podcast I have ever listened to that makes me cackle out loud and there is so much rated R content in this podcast that I can’t even get close to explaining WHAT they actually talk about. But nonetheless, the way they deliver their material is A+ and you’ll learn a lot from their personal stories and life experiences.

P.S. I repeat, may I repeat, do NOT have any children or your parents nearby when you listen to their podcast. Don’t say I didn’t warn you ;)

Happiness Podcast

Recommended by my therapist, Dr. Robert Puff’s Happiness Podcast is a gem to me because this was actually THE podcast that helped me with my anxiety. As my anxiety was at an all-time high and I found myself crying three times per day, I listened to this podcast NON-STOP during this downhill period of my life and it truly helped me get out of this rut. Essentially, this podcast allowed me to live my life in a more fulfilling way by not letting my emotions and feelings get the better of me. It allowed me to view my world, circumstances, and surroundings by FACTS and LOGIC and not by my HAUNTING THOUGHTS (aka anxiety). From the intro music to the soothing voice of Dr. Robert Puff himself, this podcast definitely exudes zen vibes to help you achieve fulfillment and inner peace.

The School Of Greatness

Not gonna lie, Lewis Howes is a Public Figure that I recently discovered, despite his fame within the world of entrepreneurs. Better late than never, I simultaneously picked up his book, The School Of Greatness”, and his podcast and haven’t looked back since. Lewis delivers high quality motivational content that will make you want to binge-listen to his podcast. As the title says itself, his podcast essentially schools you to understand how to lead a life filled with fulfillment, gratitude, and happiness. Luckily for you (and for me), he has over 1,000+ podcasts episodes to bingewatch so…happy listening ;)

Manifestation

Manifestation Babe

I literally discovered Manifestation Babe last night and absolutely fell in love with it! Kathrin Zenkina has the voice of an entrepreneurial angel and knows JUST what to say to her Manifestation Babe community. Also, I love how Kathrin keeps things completely open and transparent when it comes to sharing her entrepreneurial journey to addressing her top manifestation tips. I was never a huge manifestation enthusiast, but I’m definitely educating myself more on the topic with the help of this podcast. Definitely a podcast I will be binge-listening to for the next week or two!
