What A Smile Means To Me

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of ARC. All opinions are 100% mine.

I feel that one universal language that we can speak all around the globe is through our smile - don’t you agree? I mean after all, I personally correlate one’s smile with a wide array of positive emotions - confidence, positivity, openness, humor, trust, you name it. As much as I love smiling, there is nothing that makes me happier than putting a smile on another person’s face as well. The reason I post silly, down-to-earth, and comedic videos both on Instagram and TikTok is for the reason of spreading happiness and laughter to my audience, one post at a time.

Speaking of smiles, I will admit that this is one physical trait that I tend to notice first amongst others, and even in myself (since I do gravitate toward positive individuals and optimistic vibes). Not only do I find myself smiling often, but I also want to make sure that I am confident in the way and manner that I smile. Thus, I ensure that this step is taken care of through proper dental hygiene and oral care. And that’s why I want to talk to you guys about a specific product from a teeth whitening brand that I’ve recently discovered called ARC!

A little background information about me before we get started here - just so you know HOW crazy I am about oral hygiene ;) Back when I attended UC Santa Cruz (whoa, that was 9 years ago!!!), I joined the UCSC Dental Club my freshman year. Since I’m OCD when it comes to cleanliness, I thought I could use my OCD for the better by channeling this energy towards cleaning people’s teeth (LOL). Not only did I shadow my high school friend’s father (who was a dentist), but I also invested in this huge jam-packed full of dental knowledge binder so that I could study up on this potential future career choice of mine. Although I didn’t end up becoming a dental hygienist at the end of my college career, I still make it a huge effort to this day to keep my pearly whites flashin’ all the time.

When it comes to oral hygiene, you will probably call me crazy. You know how people just go through their standard floss & toothbrush/toothpaste routine every night? Well, I actually own a rubber pick, floss, tongue scraper, toothbrush/toothpaste, mouthwash - and I use it ALL girl! Since we only visit the dentist 1 - 2 times per year for routine check-ups, it is honestly up to our responsibility to take care of our oral health in the meantime. Not only does this include keeping our pearly whites smelling and feeling minty fresh, but we also have to make sure our teeth look polished (and not decayed, ahh)!

For those who drink coffee or tea often (heh, guilty), we have probably already noticed that our teeth have begun to look a bit yellow, brown, or stained. Therefore, it never hurts to get our teeth whitened or to try out a teeth whitening device every now and then to transform our smiles for the better! And for the record, I just know that teeth whitening products work because I used one for the very first time in 9th grade, and people were still complimenting my white smile by the time college rolled around. Teeth whitening products really work!

In fact, I’ve recently discovered ARC Whitening Pen, an easy-to-use whitening tool that is known to erase surface stains. Additionally, this pen only uses ingredients that are clinically proven to whiten teeth. Unlike other teeth whitening competitors, I love how this pen is so small and compact so that you can just easily throw it in your purse or travel bag when your teeth need a little polishing!

Personally, I have been using my ARC Whitening Pen every single evening for the past week and it honestly serves as a great way for me to invest in some “me” time before I head to bed. Every time I use a teeth whitening product, I always make sure to do it right before bedtime so that I do not let the “feeling” or “taste” disrupt my everyday lifestyle throughout the day.

If you want to try out this ARC Whitening Pen for yourself, well guess what - you CAN! ;) In fact, it JUST arrived in Target stores on February 8th so this is a hot and new item that all oral care lovers need to get their hands (or in this case, teeth) on!
